How prayer times are calculated here
Times in Morocco use the Morocco (Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs) method (Fajr 19°, Isha 17°), calculated from each city's coordinates. The country follows Africa/Casablanca time (UTC+0). Because the Sun rises and sets in the east before the west, the call to prayer in eastern cities comes about 4 minutes earlier per degree of longitude than in western ones, which is why times differ between cities of the same country. They may differ by a few minutes from local mosque timetables, which often use local rounding.
